Your Friends Don't Like Your Dog

That's right, I said it...
Tn Requin
Your friends do not like your dog.

Well, at the very least a number of them do not, and they're most likely never gonna own up either.

Why would they do that?

After all, they are your friends. They do not wish to make you think that you've failed...
and they are more than smart enough
to understand that insulting your dog is like insulting a member of your family...

Here is the thing...

If your dog jumps up and licks folks after they walk in your front door, your buddies will not like it.
And, there's not anything worse than a tiny dog that runs over to your feet, and lets loose a puddle of you know what.

You may find it cute that your dog jumps into your arms when you walk in the door.
And, you may not mind a small leak on your shoes... however that is because it's your dog and you love him/her.
Your friends merely see the paw prints on their shirts, or the
urine on their shoes and boots.

I want you to pause here and think about this for just a minute...

How much would you like it if you walked into one of your friends'
houses, and their baby greets you with an unwanted shower?

Would you say to them their baby is vulgar? Would you tell them they need to get their child under control?
Maybe you would say to them that they might think about taking some parenting courses?

Or worse, say to them they're horrible parents

Of course you would not do that! You'd laugh it off, and build up some
random excuse to get out of there as quickly as you can...

That is how your friends see your dog.

You've gained a new friend in your new pet, but if you are not
careful, you'll notice yourself spending less time with your-legged friends. ;)

That is why I created the Dog Training Academy...

I love my dog, but I do not expect my friends to love her, and I truly do not expect them too.

What I will do is be sure that my friends know for sure that my dog's
not going to ruin their clothes, not gonna pee on them,
or worse ...

Not merely that, but I recognize that a badly behaved dog can usually
mean that it happens to be a stressed out and sad dog. Canines crave structure
and they want you to be their leader. This means you dictating when and if they
jump up into your arms and/or lap. It's always little things like this most people
aren't conscious of, but can make a huge difference in the happiness of your pup.

Be certain you are not accidentally alienating your friends.

For My 2-Legged Friends,
Del Refai

P.S. No, they really will not tell you... whether or not you ask.
