When a hurricane hits water comes from everywhere. Flooding your home damaging your things and it can destroy everything you own. It can damage the foundation causing it to sink, crack, and can cave-in your home. Wiring can get damaged and beams can become broken. Water could be standing in your home soaking everything and ruining whatever the water had gotten to. Furniture will be damaged or ruined. Make sure you have flood and storm insurance on your house, whether you live in an area that these storms or floods problems are or not. It is good to have it just to be on the safe side and protect your family and your home. You also will have damages by other stuff such as all the things that can be in the water brought in your home or buildings. So if you get hit with a hurricane and a flood watch out for these things.
