If you go into a garden supply store you will see lots of of powerNike Tn equipment designed purposely for the garden. There are lawn mowers and blowers and edgers and trimmers. You would have to construct a very large storage building to house all this equipment! Relax, you can have a gorgeous garden without purchasing every yard tool the store offers. Nearly all gardeners can get by with just a few fundamental tools when it comes to power equipment for the garden.

Lawn Mower
Every home owner should have some sort of lawn mower. Well, if you have grass to maintain! There are lots of distinct types of mowers to choose from. Do you want a gas mower or one that is driven by electricity? Riding or push? Do you want to bag or mulch your clippings? There is a lot to think about when it comes to deciding on the ideal mower for your garden. Here are a few things to take into account:

How big is your yard?. If you have a small yard you can get an electric or cordless mower. These mowers are quiet and economical to run and take care of. Then again, if you have a corded mower the cord length will confine your movement so they are most effective for very small yards. Cordless mowers mostly will let you to mow roughly 1/3 acre before losing the charge. Small gardens are usually best for push mowers because you don’t really have the room to turn a riding mower.

Bagging or mulching. If you have green waste pick up in your area you may want to take into account a bagging mower. You can then send the clippings to your neighborhood collection location. Even if your neighborhood doesn't have a green waste site, you can add your grass clippings to your own compost pile and make your own healthy compost! If neither of these methods will work for you, then a mulching mower is a good option. These mowers cut the clippings into small pieces so they will fall back into the lawn and decay.

Till the Garden!
A garden tiller is one of those pieces of garden equipment that you either have to have or you can do without.Yards that are small or have a large lawn don't need a tiller. But, if you have a large garden or flower beds a garden tiller will help you break up the soil for planting.

Garden tillers, like mowers, come in a variety of sizes and styles. If you have a large garden or garden you will probably want a big, gas powered garden tiller. A tiller like this will be powerful enough to break up the soil and prepare a large spot for planting. You will use to make sure you have gas available so you can finish a job! A gas tiller will need scheduled maintenance to keep the engine running well.

If your garden is small or you want to till around shrubs and trees, a mini tiller is a good choice. These tillers normally have just two small tines, are light weight and easy to maneuver. Small tillers come in both electric and fuel powered types. However, an electric tiller is simpler to care for and they are a good deal less noisy than the gas styles.

There are other styles of power garden equipment such as blowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, and the like. For the most part of this equipment is only necessary if your yard calls for it. Gardeners who have hedges will benefit from a hedge trimmer, and if you have a lot of trees and blower is useful.. But everyone will not need all these equipment so don't feel like you need to purchase them.

Powerful equipment is very beneficial in the yard. It can make a days work less time consuming and simpler to do. Do your research and choose which kind of equipment you must have for your yard. Yard work will be a pleasure with any of these wonderful tools!
