Recently I went on the best holiday of my entire life, on safari. The whole experience was so incredible that I had to document all of it with a new flash digital camera that I purchased especially. I took so many photos of my favourite animals it was amazing! But as my partner pointed out, much like many of my digital photos, they never make it past the computer. But this experience was different; I wanted to remember this trip for the rest of my life, which was when I was introduced to the concept of photo books.
Photo books are the perfect way to document any important or special occasion, they are better than the traditional photo album. Photo albums used to take ages top create and once printed; the average sized prints look small and can fall out of the plastic. But not with the photo book, I was able to choose all of my favourite safari images and have them printed out large. It is amazing how the size makes such a big difference and the quality of the print paper was so professional.
Suddenly, my photos from my holiday had become that much better. I love flicking through the photo books I had printed for that trip. I have chosen stunning landscape images with the sun setting to take over two whole pages, so you are able to experience just a bit more of the natural beauty I saw. On some pages I have been able to add text, which has added a whole new level to my photo books. They have become stories, the safari tour guides magical stories of Africa are now captured forever in my digital photo album.
I have even managed to have some shots of me and my partner printed black and white so they look very arty. It really adds a whole new level to your holiday photos and enables friends and family to experience parts of what an incredible two weeks we had. I am not a computer person at all, but with photo books most of the websites that offer them are straightforward and simple. Within minutes I had chosen the images I wanted in my photo book and edited them to add new levels to my book. Every time I get my photo book out from the bookshelf I am excited to recall memories that I may have forgotten if I hadn't been able to capture them so fantastically with my camera and photo book technology.
